• Don't forgot to wipe the cahe.
• Now insall the gApps to get the google apps installed.
• Wipe the cache and reboot the system normally.

Common Trouble Shoot:

Here are some tips that may help you,

• If you have installed any previous pixel launcher then uninstall it first and reboot device.
• If any feature is not working try to clear app cache and clean data. give all permission and reboot.
• If you are not on Android O then settings options will have only "Allow Screen Rotation" option only. Its OK with that. Only the rotation shows up on Android 7 and lower, this is normal. All the features are still working. It's just the way the settings work that ties in with the Android 8 system
• Change icon shape feature is limited to Android O.

TWRP Installation

TWRP installation is the important step and it can be installed via the help of PC only. You need to install and configure the adb/fastboot or android sdk. Also download the proper twrp as mentioned above. Follow this post for a detailed step to see how to install the TWRP and here is another complete guide of rooting using oneplus 5.

Installing Magisk

After TWRP has been installed successfully, the next step is to install the magisk to root your device. Now as mentioned above my device got stuck in boot loop after installing super su, so take the backup. Once you are inside the twrp, go to the directory where you have copied the magisk zip file, install it and reboot your device (Wipe Cache also).

Once you are back to system, install the magisk manager latest apk as mentioned above. Open the magisk app and do the necessary settings as shown in the video demo.

Final result

Yes we are able to root or Android O.

Enable Android O Picture in Picture Mode

Android Oreo brings "Picture in Picture" mode for few supported apps like YouTube, Chrome, Duo. This was a part of Android O System UI Tuner but these features are removed from System UI Tuner on Developer Preview 3. But this feature can still be used on Nexus and Pixel Devices.

Note: 

There are two ways to enable Picture in Picture. First is using adb/fastboot command line method.Second is if you are rooted. based on your preference do this. And don't forgot to take the backup before you go ahead.

Looking on the Android O we can see that if you go inside the 'Special App Access' (Apps and Notification) you can see that Picture in Picture feature is still there. Directly you can't enable that from System UI tuner now but there is a third party application which will enable you to do this.

Minimum Requirement

• Supported Phones Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X.

• Rooted device (if going with root method)

Installation

I will suggest to go through the video demo and check in details for the installation steps. I am assuming you have made the successful adb connection with device. Execute the command as shown in image below. 

Command to execute is,

pm grant xyz.paphonb.systemuituner android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

After that open the app and a new left or right key and assign the keycode value (171) to window. Once it is done open the youtube app and start playing any video. There after press the keycode window shortcut. You will see the current video is being minimized as a floating window. It can be moved to any place and it will work on top of any window.
