The first official Lineage OS 14.1 for OnePlus 5 is now avilable. We will see the 25+ feature of the current lineage os running on OnePlus 5. Also we will check the performance and battery life too.

Note :

  • Make sure to take backup prior to any step. As this may erase your data.
  • You need a custom recovery like TWRP installed before you install this ROM.

Use the below link to download the latest Lineage OS

Installation Steps : 

  • Take the Nandroid backup using TWRP of the existing ROM. Follow this demo for more details.
  • Copy the lineage os 14.1 zip file and the gapps on to the device internal storage.
  • Do a factory reset of the device.
  • Flash the Lineage OS ROM now.
  • Don't forgot to wipe the cahe.
  • Now insall the gApps to get the google apps installed.
  • Wipe the cache and reboot the system normally.
Once all the steps are done, you need to set up the fresh device. You are set now, enjoy he new Lineage OS on your device.
