iPhone 7: Leaked photos show screen from next Apple phone, reports say

Rumored Apple Phones : The pictures show that Apple is unlikely to use a rumoured new screen technology for the new phone, and mark the first rumoured images of parts of the next phone. The first pictures of parts of the iPhone 7 appear to have been leaked, as new pictures show what claims to be the backlight and screen of the new phone. The pictures show the backlights and screen of what is reported to be Apple’s next phone, according to Taiwanese site Apple Club. While the pictures don’t show much about the design or features of the new phone, they do appear to indicate that Apple might not switch to OLED screens for the next phone. Apple has been widely rumoured to be likely to eventually switch to the new technology — though it is unclear when — since the screens are much more power-efficient, have more contrast and are already used in the Apple Watch. The iPhone 7 isn’t set to be released until much later in the year. But already many apparent and p...

waterproof iPhone 7

Rumored iOS Phone : iPhone 7 to Be Waterproof, Sport 3GB of RAM: TrendForce The iPhone 7, which Apple is expected to launch next year, could feature a memory boost, according to a research firm. The handset is also said to have waterproof capabilities. The research firm also expects Apple to launch a 4-inch iPhone next year. TrendForce said that it expects the next iPhone - currently expected to be called the iPhone 7 - to sport 3GB of RAM. Interestingly, TrendForce notes that the '5.5-inch' version of the next iPhone will bear 3GB of RAM, with no word on whether the smaller variant will get the same amount of RAM. If not, this could suggest that Apple may have plans to make the 'Plus' model of its iPhone lineup more feature-rich in the coming years. The firm also noted that it expects the next iPhone to be waterproof. While the latter addit...

top-to-bottom screen in new iPhone 7??

Rumored iOS Phone :   will new iPhone feature the first ever top-to-bottom screen?  A designer in the Czech Republic has created a radical new iPhone 7 concept sketch which shows how the phone may look if – as many tech experts believe – Apple gets rid of the home button on its next handset. A video and accompanying images from Marek Weidlich, a Czech designer, show the device with a top-to-bottom screen, which would be a first for any manufacturer. "I focused on simple design language which is very important for Apple," explained Weidlich. "I designed a curved display without a bezel, and equipped with a software home button. The back rounded body is designed in an aluminium material supplemented with a plastic strip for better holding." The body of the phone looks very much like an iPhone 6, with a home screen that appears to...

New iPhone 6S Leak Reveals 400% Camera Boost

The soon to be released iPhone 6S looks set to receive a massive boost to selfie picture quality. According to a note to investors, attributed by MacRumors to the famously accurate KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple AAPL -1.78% ’s forthcoming flagship will feature a 5 megapixel front-facing camera – a move that’s sure to please a huge number of selfie fans around the world. Upgrading the FaceTime camera to 5 megapixels is an obvious step and a highly anticipated new feature of the next iPhone. The current iPhone 6 version offers only a paltry 1.2 megapixels, which is four than times lower resolution. Kuo’s latest report adds considerable weight to existing rumours I’ve already covered on Forbes. Whether or not customers actually prefer how they look when shot with a much higher-resolution camera remains to be seen, but this move will bring the iPhone into line with its arch-rival, the Samsung Galaxy S6 . An earlier post by 9to5Mac quotes from ...

iPhone 6S Leaks In Full, Confirms Size Changes

One of the criticisms regularly leveled at smartphone makers if their phones have become too thin. Predictably Apple has been on the receiving end of a lot of this as every new iPhone has been thinner than the last. Until now… The ever reliable MacRumours has now confirmed rumours that have been floating around for months: the iPhone 6S will indeed be larger than the iPhone 6 . How does it know for sure? Because the well connected site has become the first source to attain a fully assembled iPhone 6S chassis allowing precise measurements to be taken from all sides. From this we learn: iPhone 6S measurements: 138.19 x 67.68 x 7.08 mm iPhone 6 measurements: 138.1 x 67 x 6.9 mm The good news is these changes shouldn’t prove too noticeable, though they do equate to a 3% overall increase in size. Should this lead to a proportional weight increase that would mean the iPhone 6S will tip the scales at 133g (132.87g) vs 129g for the iPhone 6. iPhone 6S full assembled c...
