Whats New in 0.37.0

According to Pokemon GO Official change log:

Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.37.0 for Android and 1.7.0 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.

Implemented Buddy Pokémon: Trainers will now be able to choose one of their Pokémon to be their buddy. A Trainer can earn Candy for their Buddy Pokémon by walking a certain distance.
Made it easier to select smaller Pokémon on the screen.
Fixed an issue where Eggs would sometimes hatch without displaying the animation.
Improved performance reliability when a device switches networks to no longer cause the application to hang or stop updating.
Pokémon GO Plus support
Minor text fixes.

So there are two major changes in this verison. First you can now create buddy to any of the Pokemon,

and the second new important change is Pokemon GO Plus. Which is actually a device you can wear to get know about the pokemon details,

Android Hacked Version Support

Please read this post for detailed current status of the some of possible ways to run hacked version of the pokemon go on Android. For the current version I have found following,

On Rooted Devices

If you try to install on rooted phones then the game will not work and you will get Authentication error as below.

Using the exposed framework method is not workign as of now. Should be live soon.
You can install older version 0.35.0 and can use with Fly GPS.

On Non Rooted Device

The current version 0.35.0 can be installed or updated to previous version 0.35.0.
During installation you may feel that the apk file is not getting installed. Just reboot and try to install again. Repeat the step untill it is done.
Installation may fail also and you may get error as below. This is a software bug and shiuld be get resolved soon. I wil post new update soon,

Which Hacked Version to Use ?

As said above if you are on Android Marshmallow and above then you can use the Fly GPS method. It is still working great. Read the details here. You need to download and install the Fake GPS app from playstore and sideload the app. Watch the below video for more details,
