Minimum Requirement
You are reading this post this then I am assuming you have either TWRP or CWM installed. I am taking TWRP here. There are few certain condition to work,
1. You device should have root access
Since you have custom recovery installed so most likely your device is rooted. In case it is not then install Super SU and get your device root. Without root you have use computer method (adb, fastboot) to install stock recovery
2. You should have compatible stock recovery or any other recovery (if not stock)
If you planning to remove TWRP then you should install some other recovery. Otherwise your device won't work.
Files Needed
Download and install the below app from the Google Play Store
Flashify (for root users)
Steps
Follow the below steps,
- Copy the stock recovery to your phone (internal memory recommended)
- Install the mentioned app above
- Open the app and under Flash tab, select the "Recovery Image"
- Now on the popup windows select "Choose a file" and browse the recovery file (.img)
- After selecting file select the "Yup" option on the popup window
- You will see Flashing window.
- Once done it will ask for reboot.
You should try to reboot and check whether you are able to go to recovery mode with the new installed recovery or not.
