New leak rounds our Lumia 550 specifications

We now know nearly as much about the newly leaked Lumia 550 as the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, with the latest leak, via WindowsPhoneApps.es adding just a few more details.



The image above, leaked by Facebook group Forever Nokia Latinoamerica  shows the device as having a:
  • HD 5-inch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
  • Qualcomm 1Ghz Snapdragon Quad-Core (presumably would be 210).
  • Rear 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED Flash Geotagging +.
  • Front 2 megapixel camera
  • 8GB internal storage + 1 GB of RAM 128Gb + Micro-SD.
  • 1905 mAh battery with rapid charger.
We can add this to what has been leaked earlier, which includes:
  • available White or Black glossy  polycarbonate and possible a range of other colours
  • LTE
  • On-screen keys
  • Speaker lower left on the rear
  • Cost – around $120/120 Euro
Note that we can not verify this new leak yet, and that there are some discrepancies e.g. the screen size, with earlier leaks saying 4.7 inches and this device offering 5 inches.
Nevertheless the  frequency of the leaks suggests the device may be announced next month at Microsoft’s New York event on the 6th October, though other rumours have suggested it will only hit the market early next year.
