Microsoft Lumia 950XL, Lumia 950 leak anticipates specs, reveals more details

We all want Windows Phone flagships! However, we should understand that it would make little sense to unveil high-end devices prior to Windows 10 Mobile’s release, so we’re all hoping to see some Windows Phone flagships towards the end of the year.

There were a couple rumored, like the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940XL, with some of their specs getting leaked, in addition some details. Then we started hearing about a certain Lumia 950, with some specs mentioned, and now a report turns everything upside down.

According to this report from China, the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940XL we’ve previously heard about are now the Lumia 950, and Lumia 950XL. Codenamed Talkman and Cityman, the report goes as far as anticipating specifications, which are pretty much conflicting with what we’ve heard so far.
The Lumia 950 Talkman is said to feature a 5.2-inch screen with Quad HD resolution, six-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 20MP main camera, 5MP webcam, USB Type-C, Continuum support, as well as a 3,000mAh battery.

The Lumia 950XL Cityman is mentioned to pack a larger, 5.7-inch screen, with Quad HD resolution, octa-core Snapdragon 810, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 20MP main camera, 5MP front-facer, USB Type-C, Continuum support, and a 3,300mAh battery.

Both devices will, according to the report, feature a full metal slim body, and will see the official light of day around end of October, beginning of November (though Microsoft didn’t specify an exact date for Windows 10 Mobile).
