According to Pocket Lint, the new rumor came from technology news leaker Evan Blass, otherwise known as evleaks, who stated via Twitter that six new Lumia smartphones will arrive in the market over the coming months.

In addition, the rumors say that the new devices will run on the latest Microsoft Windows 10 mobile operating system, but no details in regards to their specs have been mentioned. Microsoft is expected to start rolling out Windows 10 on personal computers on July 29.

Here's what is known about Microsoft's upcoming handsets according to earlier rumors. The Lumia 940 handset is anticipated to sport a 5.2-inch AMOLED display screen with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

On the other hand, the Lumia 940 XL is likely to come with a larger 5.7-inch AMOLED display screen with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

GSM Arena reports that the two new Lumia handsets will sport a polycarbonate material and will cost more than Apple's iPhone 6 and Samsung's Galaxy S6. Under the hood, the Lumia 940 will reportedly pack a Snapdragon 808, 3GB RAM, 3000 mAh battery and 32GB internal memory, while the Lumia 940 XL will have a Snapdragon 810, 3GB RAM, a larger 3300 mAh battery and 32GB memory storage as well.

The Lumia 1030, on the other hand, is expected to sport a 5-inch AMOLED display screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. It will run on a still unknown quad core processor, 2GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory.

As of this time, Microsoft has not confirmed any of the circulating rumors and no information about the other Lumia devices is available.
