New Handset Will Boast a 50-MP Rear Camera, Run on Windows 10 OS

Apart from launching two new Lumia handsets - Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL, Microsoft plans to release a third smartphone called the Lumia 1030 this year. All these three devices are expected to run on the Redmond, Washington-based tech titan's latest operating system - Windows 10 OS.

Citing a report, Christian Today states that Microsoft is designing the latest Windows 10 operating system as an integration of the company's PC, phone as well as game console operating systems.
In fact, it is expected that the upcoming Lumia 940, Lumia 940 XL together with Lumia 1030 handset will be the first smartphone devices to run on Windows 10 operating system.

It is expected that the upcoming Microsoft Lumia 1030 smartphone will sport a 5 inch AMOLED display screen rendering a 1080 x 1920 resolution. According to earlier rumors, the handset will come with a 5.8 inch Quad HD display screen along with a 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The most important as well as interesting aspect of the Microsoft Lumia 1030 is the device's superior 50 mega pixel rear camera that incorporates optical image stabilization as well as auto/ manual focus facilities. The superior primary camera of Lumia 1030 is certain to offer users and photographers images that are more crystal clear.

Then again, there are rumors that the Lumia 1030 will come with a 2 mega pixel front-facing camera. The upcoming device from Microsoft is likely to pack 2 GB of RAM, similar to predecessor the Lumia 1020. However, the Lumia 1030 will come with 32 GB internal memory space, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card.

As of not, it is not certain as to what processor Microsoft will be using for this new phone. However, some reports suggest that the device may be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon SoC. Microsoft is yet to announce the official release date of the new Lumia 1030 smartphone.
