This post will guide you on how to get android Nougat and Android O's built in App Shortcuts on any android device.



Android Nougat brings the feature of App shortcuts, which in another way is sort of similar to Apple iOS 3D Touch. If you long on any app (if it supports app shortcut) then if will pop you some additional actions that you can take without directly going in to that app. See above for a reference. Now using some third party application you can easily get this feature on android device (5.0+).

Installation Steps

Once you have the required apps installed, Open the Nova Launcher setting and configure the Sesame Shortcuts. It will be helpful if also follow the video instructions below to get the job done.
