YouTube GO app focus on save for later purpose. It is designed especially for locations where internet connectivity is not faster and not cheaper too. With this the app is launched in beta stage. But you can install it in early access or you can sideload it.

Features of YouTube GO app


New app has two tabs only, the home and the saved app. compared to YouTube app which has many features.  The app requires your email address and phone number which it verifies with a text; this is because of app can do some friend-finding and sharing which is similar to Allo. Along with this you can download videos as expected for offline purpose. Under settings you can see the storage available also.

This app brings the new feature to share the videos from one phone to other phone, It will create wifi hotspot. You can make a pair and send the files to other phones too. Watch the video demo to see the detailed features. 

Limitations of the YouTube GO app

Before we see any limitations let me tell you, this app is still in beta and unreleased state. so anything can be changed and app can be broken. As of now you can only save videos wither in 144p or 480p. There is no option to save in HD or Full HD. Hopefully in future this feature will come.
