Nokia Asha WhatsApp 2.13.40
Whats New In Symbian : WhatsApp 2.13.40 Version Download Available for Nokia Asha
We remind you that the developers of WhatsApp have announced that they will no longer support this application before the end of 2016 on some specific mobile systems, such as Nokia Asha and Series 40.
However, it seems that WhatsApp is still releasing updates for Nokia Asha and today we’re going to talk about the WhatsApp 2.13.40 that has just been released for the Nokia devices running on this platform. However, keep in mind that the WhatsApp 2.13.40 is currently in BETA phase, which means that there are high chances that you will find errors or bugs while using it.
When we compared the WhatsApp 2.13.40 with the previous version of the application, we’ve found out that this new update doesn’t come with many changes and it seems that the emojis that have been introduced previously can’t be used yet. The WhatsApp 2.13.40 jar (installation) file for Nokia Asha has been increased with 17KB and it has over 1400 modified files, which is quite a lot, as the application has a little less than 2066 files.
In addition, 19 new files have been added, most of them being named such as “blc.class”, which is quite difficult to guess what they are used for exactly, but we’re pretty sure that the developers will activate them in the near future.
