Acer Liquid Jade Primo (with Windows 10) will be released in December

Last month, Acer unveiled its first Windows 10 smartphones: the Liquid M330, and the Liquid Jade Primo. While we already had information on the price and release date of the M330 (which is a low-end device), Acer didn't say anything regarding the launch and price of the more advanced Jade Primo. Well, not until today.

The Liquid Jade Primo was just announced in the Philippines, where it's going to be available starting December. Acer will sell the handset unlocked for around $410 (18,990 PHP in local currency).

Powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, the Jade Primo sports a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels. Other features include an 8 MP front-facing camera, a 21 MP rear camera with dual LED flash, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage space. At the moment, details regarding the battery of the new Acer handset are missing.

Although in early September it was announced as the world's first smartphone to support Microsoft Continuum, the Acer Liquid Jade Prime won't be the first to hit the market with this feature on board. That's because Microsoft's Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will both be released sometime in November.

We don't know if the Acer Liquid Jade Primo will be launched in North America and/or Europe, but we're going to let you know when we find out. Would you be interested in buying this Windows 10 device?
