The Lumia 830 (unlocked) has reached the End of Life

While the Lumia 830 was one of the most loved Windows Phone, but the price of the device wasn’t pretty good. Nonetheless, if you’re planning to pick up a Lumia 830 sometime soon, you may not be able to.

The Lumia 830 (unlocked) has reached End of Life aka EOL. According to a Microsoft employee who requested to remain anonymous, the “Lumia 830 is no more, to fill in the empty spaces in the store, the Lumia 735 will do it”.

So what does End of Life mean? To put it simply, the Lumia 830’s inventory will no longer be replenished.  The company is replacing the Lumia 830 with other devices, mainly the Lumia 735, as you can see in the image above. Interestingly enough, Microsoft is replacing the Lumia 830 with the Acer Liquid M220 at the Microsoft Store 0059.

Since there has been murmurings about the Lumia 830’s successor recently, we won’t be surprised if Microsoft reveals the Lumia 830’s successor sometime soon. Nonetheless, tell us if you’re planning to get a Lumia 830 in the comment section below.
