Did you know that the iconic 'Nokia Tune' comes from a Spanish classical song?

Almost everyone who has seen the evolution of cellphones in the decade, has used a Nokia phone. And Nokia phones have always been characterized by two things: super strength, the 'Connecting People' intro and the 'Nokia Tune'.

Well, if you've ever wondered where the 'Nokia Tune came from, wonder no more! We have the answer.


For starters, the name of the song is 'Grande Vals'. The iconic ringtone is a phrase from 'Grande Vals' (12 seconds to 14 seconds). It is a Spanish Classical song, composed by the classical guitarist and musician Francisco Tárrega.
